Personal care

• Assistance with getting up and going to bed
• Bathing and showing
• Toilet assistance

Preparation of meals and snacks

• Prepare breakfast, mid-day meal, evening meal or supper and any other snacks and drinks that may be needed during the day. The carer will be able to sit with you while you have your meals for conversation or companionship purposes

Personal services

• Preparing shopping lists
• Manage personal affairs, such as birthdays
• Collect your pension (with your permission)
• Escorting to and from appointments
• Accompanying clients from Nursing / Residential homes for outings or shopping
• Accompany you on short breaks either at home or abroad
• Visits to garden centres, to bluebell woods, snowdrop Sunday, golf club, theatre or cinema visits, lunches out, etc..

Domestic & home help services

• Light domestic tasks, such as vacuum cleaning, dusting, general cleaning
• Washing up
• Personal laundry
• Managing fuel supplies (subject to certain restrictions which will be discussed with you when the Care Plan is drawn up).

Pets

• Subject to agreement your carer will be able to feed your pet, and exercise it if neeeded.
• We can accompany yo to the veterinary surgery or take your pet for you.

Care at night

We offer a flexible service through the night:

• Night Duty - Awake - For clients who require frequent attention during the night.
• Night Duty - Sleeping - For clients who need to feel that they are not left alone during the night. A bed needs to be provided for the carer who will be expected to sleep.
